Dog Owners Please Note

Canine or kennel cough, is a contagious airborne viral and/or bacterial infection that can affect dogs wherever they come together in numbers of two or more, i.e. at training classes, dog shows, kennels or vets waiting rooms. Canine cough is rarely harmful to dogs, the symptoms and duration of the infection being similar to the common cold in humans.

Vaccinations to protect against canine cough are available, but their effectiveness is limited.

Clients concerned about the above are advised to consult their vetinary surgeon about the advisability of vaccination.

By placing dogs in kennels owners must accept the risk of exposure to canine cough infection.

While every effort is taken to care for the health and welfare of pets left with us we can accept no responsibility for the possible exposure of dogs to canine cough infection. Insurance cover is not provided for the treatment etc. For any such infection.

CUSTOMERS DECIDING TO VACCINATE MUST HAVE VACCINE ADMINISTERED AT LEAST 10 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL AT KENNELS
